How do I remove a fraud alert from my credit report?
I also have one of these automatically requested on my behalf without my concern by my bank even though I was never a victim of fraud. And believe me, I try to remove it and it%26#039;s impossible. According to TransUnion, Experian and Equifax, the alerts will stay on your credit bureaus for 7-years. Is a pain in the a s s.
Every time you will try to request credit, lenders will not be able to make an instant approval decision even if you have excellent credit, but will hold pending the loan/credit card application until they can talk to you, which usually can take from 48 to 72-hours, in the meantime your FICO scores can drop and the lender have not obligation to honor the initial offer/application.
