I have recently had a judgement placed on my credit report. Any suggestions on how I can clear this

Can I dispute this before the judgement is satisfied? Should I hire a agency to clear my credit. Or can I handle it myself and if so how do i handle it myself?

It must be false. You can get a free credit report annually from each of the three credit report companies and protest the item, offering a brief explanation of why it is false. They will investigate it and delete it if they find that it%26#039;s false. But simply unfavorable is different than false.

These are difficult to remove and impossible to prevent from coming back. If you dispute it, and it is legitimate, your chances of getting it removed are minimal. But even if it is removed, chances are it will come back. If you pay the judgement off, the government has been very good about letting the judgement fall off of your report when asked to verify by the CRA%26#039;s. Chances of success after it has been payed are much, much better. I repair credit and satisfied judgements come off 80% of the time when paid off. You can try it yourself. But you may get better results with someone that knows the ins and outs of credit repair.

Good Luck!
