I have filed a dispute with experian and it stated that if the creditor did not reply to the dispute within 30-45 days then they would send me an email letting me know if it was accepted or declined and it would be either updated or removed from my report...but nothing has changed and i have not recieved an email ...what should i do?
What if i have filed a dispute with a credit report agency and has been the 30-45 days but nothing%26#039;s changed
The creditor has 30 days to provide proof of the debt. It usually takes the 7 days to mail the request to the creditor, 30 days for the response, and another 7-10 days for you to get your letter. So basically, you should get a letter any day now with the resolution. I know it is driving you crazy, but just be patient.
Also...Check your mail. Every time I have disputed something, they have sent me a letter in the mail instead of an email.
