im from europe and i got married to a US Ciizen. I have my temporary green card and work authorization. I know I have 3 accounts in collection but i don know if they have my SS#. I checked my credit history and it says I dont have any history at all.
Does it mean I am clean???? That would be great!

They either did not report it to the credit bureau yet, or if they did it%26#039;s probably on someone else%26#039;s report by mistake.
Having a debt listed on a credit report has no relationship to your legal obligation to pay it.

looks that way. I don%26#039;t think your credit history follows you around to other countries as most people think. I have excellent credit and was in the same situation as you, as in expatriate in the middle east I found it very hard to open an account, as I had no credit over there. I was eventually able to by showing proof of income.
