I have a score of 661, which isnt the real great but I know its good enough to get auto financing. I check through both truecredit which gives me all 3 scores and and experians score watch. They both are pretty much the same. I applied online to both e-loan and capital one. I was turned down by both. I am wondering if it has anything to do with the fraud alert thats on my report. I got an email saying I was denied about the same minute that I got the email saying thank you for applying.
Will a fraud alert on credit report stop you from getting financing?
Thats what fraud alerts are for.
If you have a fraud alert when applying for credit, the creditors should call you to verify your information.
Some creditors won%26#039;t bother and will do an instant denial.
You might contact both companies and ask them for reconsideration on your application. You will have to give them the verification information if they agree to reconsider.

No it has nothing to do with a theft lock. You can still apply for credit, there should just be a few more security questions they will ask.

Hi! your application can be refused because of lot of things: score (income, house rent ...), Fraud cases (e.g. when your personal information match with another application ...),type of credits (loans...) ....
But, i would say that your score is not enough from both.
