I have disputed items on my credit report if I don't get a respond within 30 days...?

do I need to contact the Credit Bureus and have it removed or will they remove it automatically? Also how will I know if it has been removed? Will I need to request for another one?

If you dispute online, they are pretty good about resolving it within 30 days. Once your dispute is resolved they will send you an email regarding this and you are entitled to a free updates report once it is complete. remember to write down your passwords and login ID%26#039;s and your Case/ID/Report numbers too. It is easy to do - a little time is needed however. If you choose to do it by mail send all supporting documents that you can regarding the disputed issue.... They will send you a dispute resolution and a new report when done. If you end up disagreeing with the resolution, the you can have a consumer statement added to your credit report for free. Good Luck!!

No, the credit bureaus should make contact with you regarding your dispute, by law if they do not make correspondence with you or never investigated your dispute, they have to delete the item and it may not be added to your report again.

No, they will send you a letter in the mail. They can face fines for not completing it within 30 days.

The credit reporting agencies contact the creditors, who have 30 days by law to respond. If the creditor does not respond to the dispute, the reporting agency will update the credit file in your favor, no matter what the dispute was. This is done automatically at the end of the 30 days. The reporting agency then sends you a results letter and new copy of the credit file by mail, so you don%26#039;t have to contact them to find out the results.
