How can I remove credit inquiries off my credit report?

Or is there a company that can assist me with that?

I have great credit history however I have alot of inquries from about a year ago then some recent ones... How can I get those removed so they do not lower my score or so that I don%26#039;t get denied later for past inquiries?

If they are hard inquiries, that is ones that you requested, and are valid there is no way to have them removed legally. Inquiries are one check that the scoring systems use. If it appears that someone is requesting a lot of credit that might be a problem. However it only accounts for about 10% of your total score.

After about 6 months the inquires have minimal impact on your score. After a year they are no longer considered in your credit score at all. However, they will continue to appear for a total of 2 years.

In general you should only apply for credit when you need it, and one or two every few months has a very minimal impact. One exception is what is known as %26quot;rate shopping%26quot;. That is when you are looking for something like a car or house, and they do multiple inquires from different lenders. The scoring system will treat these inquiries in a short period of time as only one.

Unless they are records of inquiries that never actually happened, you can%26#039;t have them removed! Your credit history is just that, a history. You can%26#039;t change history...

There is no way to have them removed if they actually were a credit inquiry made on your part. They will stay on for up to two years but after 6 months to 1 year, they will not really be looked at anymore. It accounts for 10% of your score, I believe.
