I have collectors on my report that i have paid in years past, how do i remove that from my report. Because i was told that is hurting my score.

Write a letter to the credit bureau and ask that it be removed. Include any supporting documents.

open a new file and start over , if you have collections it will be very hard to remove those thats the plain truth, start new and manage it better im sure if you got a 2nd chance u would be better than the 1st time around good luck contact me for more tips nycitychef@yahoo.com

When a default appears on your creit report, it stays there for 5 years if it is paid (or seven years if it is not - or your creditor has been unable to find you). There is no way of being able to delete the entry off your credit report early - unless you can prove that it was initially put on there in error. Other things also hurt your credit score too, including %26quot;applications for credit%26quot; everytime you apply for a loan or a credit card or a mobile phone - it shows up that you could be a %26quot;credit risk%26quot;.
