I pay for a service to check all three reports and scores anytime. They have my account balances from 01/07 and some from 12/06! So my report says I%26#039;ve got about $7000 on cards when in reality I have nothing on them. Can request an update, or do I just have to wait?

You do not have to update your report, it is kept track of constantly. You can however check your report. I don%26#039;t recomend it because everytime anyone looks up your credit report, it drops a few points. I was in the 800-Club and then it got checked when I bought a Corvette and it dropped to about 798 from 803.
