I would like to know what my rights are in the state of washington, in regards to the fact that ford motor credit sued me and the judge made a decision on it in their favor. Yet I was never contacted at all regarding this issue. I now live in alaska and informed them of my new address and phone when I moved over 2 years ago. I never heard a word. Whats up? and wahat can I do?

The court cannot proceed without at least trying to contact you, if they cannot get a hold of you, that is your problem. they will not wait around, once it is clear youa re not responding, they can rule on the case in your absence.

It sounds like that is what happened here. You better find out how much you owe Ford, because the next step will be criminal court which will result in some sort of punishment on top of having to pay Ford whatever money you owe them.

It means that they can place a lean against your house and your checking accounts to get their money. Also it is impossible for you not to have known there is a judgment becuase you should have been served with a law suit before the judgment was issued. Weird
