Can I uncontest things on my credit report?

I%26#039;m looking to buy a house in November and I read an article that said to just contest everything negative on your report and see what happens. I had nothing worse then a few 30 day past and a bunch of %26quot;ok%26#039;s%26quot; meaning I had paid ontime. Well it looks like on Equifax they removed all my ok%26#039;s but left the couple %26quot;30 day past dues%26quot; My equifax score is over 50 points lower then my other two. Equifax does not have one %26quot;ok%26quot; under any of my accounts but not any of the late notices went away. Is that because I contested this or does equifax just not record the %26quot;ok%26#039;s%26quot; like the other two? If so, is there anything I can do to get my oks back? I really want to get a house!

Can I uncontest things on my credit report?

i dont know what you read but their info was WRONG

Equifax can%26#039;t respond to your request to add or remove anything on your credit report

That request must be submitted by the creditors

So gather all your reports and write down the items that are on the other reports and ask that specific creditor to send your payment history to Equifax

that might work but i%26#039;m not sure...its worth the try

The article gave you bad advice.

The only items you can contest are inaccurate ones.
