After 3 months of disputing a $13 past due amount with Experian, it always comes back as verified. I called my case worked and he said I have never been in arrears or had a lien against me from the CS office. I explained the situation and they are telling me to fight it with the credit agencies. I told them I will file a lawsuit for defamation. Any advice on how I can get this fixed?

Have you tried gettting something in writing from your case worker that shows you have never been late and sending that with your dispute to the credit bureau?
You could also request contact info from the credit bureau. It%26#039;s probably not your case worker. Could very well be someone in the CS office that automatically verifies without doing any real checking.
